**Job Summary**

Responsible for managing the work activities of a group of engineers and project estimators involved in the development of transmission line and substation project scopes and cost estimates throughout a project's life cycle. Activities include interfacing with internal and external planning, engineering and project managers to develop and maintain conceptual, functional and detailed project scopes. Activities also include developing and maintaining cost estimating processes, practices and guidelines; supporting updating cost estimation systems; and supporting analysis of actual project cost vs. project estimates as a means of keeping the cost estimating database current.
