The Toronto Children’s Chorus is inviting talented conductors to assist with its Training Choirs and Main Choir. You will collaborate closely with the Artistic Director and Associate Artistic Director to further the choir’s artistic mission. Rehearsals are held in midtown Toronto on weekdays from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm, allowing for an engaging environment with young musicians.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct rehearsals and lead sectional practices
• Document rehearsal progress and distribute notes
• Track each choir member’s music skill growth
• Attend workshops, meetings, and festivals
• Communicate with parents/guardians via e-memos
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in music required; graduate degree preferred
