University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust are seeking to recruit a Trainee Clinical Perfusionist on a fixed term contract to work within the Sussex Cardiac Centre, Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton. A qualified basic grade position may be offered upon successful completion of training.

The successful applicant will be required to attend Bristol University to complete a Masters degree in Clinical Perfusion Science. The course will be over two years involving block release to allow attendance and remote learning.

The post holder will be expected to work full time, 4 days a week, and be involved in providing 24-hour cover when appropriate. You will need to be able to attend RSCH within a maximum response time of 20 minutes for on call purposes.
