Summary The position is in the VA Office of Acquisition, Logistics, and Construction; Office of Procurement, Acquisition, and Logistics (OPAL). OPAL is one of the largest acquisition and logistics organizations of the Federal Government with annual expenditures of more than $30.3 billion for supplies and services. This position will help enhance this office's support of Logistics and Transportation Management programs throughout the VA healthcare system and has nationwide impact. Responsibilities Major Duties: Receive and process routine shipping requests and makes determination of most efficient and economical rates prior to the issuance of VA commercial bills of ladings (VCBLs). Perform pre/post-auditing of freight bills and Carrier billing statements.
