Job Summary:
Responsible for performing journeyman level work as a Carpenter and semi-skilled work in painting and masonry. Will assist in carrying out projects, and may supervise and instruct lower grade incumbents as needed; will read blueprints and maintain new and existing equipment. Must have basic knowledge of all hand and shop tools associated with the carpentry trade. Specific duties are as follows but not limited to: Perform journeyman level carpentry to include construction and repair of walls, ceilings, floors, doors, cabinetry, counters, and shelving. Includes roofing, millwork, furniture construction, repair and cabinetwork. Make small repairs to furniture, windows, screens, picture frames.
