Job Description
• Trade Compliance Operations - Supervise the Trade Compliance internal department operations in accordance with company policies and procedures. Create reports to measure effectiveness of trade compliance programs. Develop, perform analysis on and maintain departmental risk and productivity metrics to identify areas for reduction of risk and process improvement; including processes involving classifications, restricted party screening, export commodity classifications, post entry reviews, protests, CF28 and CF29’s, reconciliation, and all submissions to the Bureau of Industry and Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, or other government agencies. Advise the Manager of Trade Compliance of any area of risk. Initiate and participate in Process Improvement Projects with the goal of reducing trade compliance risk for the company and making the department more efficient.
