About the Job

We're looking for a Trade Assistant to join our dedicated and hard-working Diesel Mechanical team. If you have a mechanical aptitude and enjoy getting your hands dirty while learning on the job, this could be perfect for you - a challenging and diverse role supporting the team in the empty shipping container industry.

• Days and Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm, Saturday as required, 7:00 am – 12:00 pm
• Location: Neilson Street, Otahuhu

What You'll Do

You'll support the Diesel Mechanics team in all areas of the workshop, working alongside mechanics on a range of machinery from commercial vehicles through to forklifts and container handling equipment.

• Manual labour and general mechanical duties
• Assist mechanics with repairs and maintenance
• Workshop all-rounder supporting daily operations
