The role: Join the program that gave so many of Canada’s journalists their start. The Toronto Star is looking for emerging photo/video journalists who combine traditional photojournalist grit with digital agility.

This is a paid contract position based in Toronto for an emerging photo and video journalist with less than five years of professional experience. You will work alongside full-time staff, earn photo and video credits and produce high-impact work from the start. Early morning, evening and weekend work will be required.

• Salary: $55,762.20  (Unifor Local 87-M)
