Set up, program and operate mills machines, lathes, surface grinders and CNC machining equipment by entering instructions, including zero and reference points
Must be able to read and work from CAD/CAM files, engineering drawings, sketches and or verbal instructions to perform highly diversified EDM operations and specifications
Able to create and edit semi-complex programs using CAD/CAM systems and machine controllers
Perform complex precision work to exacting tolerances and dimensions
Check work using precision inspection instruments and devices
Plan and construct intricate tools, fixtures and gauges to extremely close tolerances
Perform work in a safe manner, keeping tool room equipment clean and in safe working condition
Ensure all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard and adhere to all quality standard regulation
