Responsibilities


+ Complete mold repairs and modifications necessary for the production of acceptable molded plastic products.

+ Troubleshoot and recommend solutions for problem molds assigned by the Director of Tech Services.

+ Set up and operate all tool room equipment using very close tolerances.

+ Read mold drawings or hand sketches to complete repairs or tool modifications.

+ Perform mold cleaning and rework according to facility procedures.

+ Maintain proper records of activities on molds and time required to complete jobs.

+ Handle special project assignments and report results to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager verbally and in writing.

+ Keep updated files on all projects.
