**Job Summary**
The Tooling Reliability Engineer is responsible for maximizing the reliability, availability, and safe operation of die cast tooling within Production operations. This role owns tooling performance data, leads cross‑functional problem solving, and drives improvements that reduce downtime, extend tooling life, and enhance manufacturing efficiency. The engineer collaborates closely with Tool Room, Production, and Tooling Engineering to deliver sustainable performance and continuous improvement.

**Tooling Performance & Analytics**
+ Monitor AB1V status including spares, die condition, engineering changes, and core locations.
+ Use detailed tracking systems (e.g., RSC movement vs. APDs) to identify high‑failure or low‑life tooling.
+ Reclassify downtime into accurate root‑cause categories and develop prioritized corrective action plans.
