Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Tool and Die Maker to join the Electrical Wiring Systems Wiremold Team in West Hartford, CT. The Tool and Die Maker will provide production support through tool and die making activities.
What Will You Do?
Perform precision grinding, milling, polishing and other machining operations to make or repair tool components.Fabricate and maintain dies, punches, forms, and other components in stamping and forming tools; components for and complete assemblies of jigs, fixtures, gauges and other applications.Assemble manufactured parts into working production tooling, fixtures, etc.Read and interpret engineering blueprints, specifications and verbal instructions.Set up and operate machine tools and hand tools.Troubleshoot and repair production tools.Make own setups on CNC equipment.
