Set up welding machines and equipmentWeld, cut, and grind aluminum of different widthsTack-welds or welds components and assemblies, using electric, gas, arc or other welding equipmentLays out, positions, and secures parts and assemblies according to specifications, blueprints, or drawingsFollows weld and assembly requirements of drawings and/or blueprints for assigned product by using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)Ignites torch and adjusts valves, amperage, or voltage to obtain desired flame or arcMaintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairsDocuments actions by completing production and quality logs.Use precision measuring instruments including micrometer...
