The Excellent Young Scientists Fund Program (Overseas) aims to attract and encourage outstanding young scholars from overseas (including non-Chinese foreign nationals) who have demonstrated strong achievements in natural sciences or engineering. The program encourages these scholars to return to (or come to) China to conduct independent and innovative research, accelerate their professional development, and become leading academic figures at the frontiers of science and technology. This initiative supports the national strategy of building a strong scientific and technological nation.
