An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, conscientious, caring and motivated Therapy Support Worker to join our friendly and supportive AMU therapy team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful applicant will join our experienced integrated therapy team, working alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy Support workers and the wider multidisciplinary team. The Therapy Team play a fundamental role in person-centred care as well as safe and effective discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Support the integrated therapy team in delivering physiotherapy and occupational therapy services.
• Implement assessments and treatment plans to promote patient independence.
• Progress delegated treatment programmes, teach patients functional exercise, and fit equipment.
