The Theatre Resource Officer plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care within the Operating Theatres across King’s Mill and Newark Hospitals. This dynamic and fast-paced position is responsible for ensuring theatres are fully equipped with the essential consumables, surgical products, and specialist equipment needed to keep services running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with theatre teams, procurement services, consultants, and external suppliers to manage stock control, raise and process orders, coordinate loan kits, and introduce new products and technologies.
• Monitor stock usage and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Resolve supply chain issues and maintain accurate electronic records and reporting systems.
