Lehighton seeks Lineworker


The Borough of Lehighton is seeking applicants for the position of Lineworker. The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, operating line trucks and related equipment; performing secondary line maintenance; working on overhead and underground distribution lines; climbing poles and working off hooks; maintaining streetlighting and traffic signals; and assisting other staff members with day-to-day responsibilities.


The Borough is seeking a candidate interested in starting a life in the Pocono Mountains, living in a small, quiet, and walkable community. Most of the Borough of Lehighton’s workforce consists of career employees who retire here with their pension.
