Test Engineer – Engine Room & Cargo Handling Simulators (ECS)

As our new Test Engineer at Kongsberg Maritime AS, you will play a vital role in our Maritime Simulation team, developing and delivering market‑leading simulator solutions for mandatory STCW training and advanced integrated crew training for the maritime, naval and offshore industries worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, execute and maintain testing plans and administer annual releases.
• Be responsible for the test environment and lab equipment.
• Implement both hands‑on and automated tests for process models and 3D assets.
• Contribute to improving the QA process.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Process Control, Automation or other relevant fields.
