Summary About the Position: This position is with the Defense Commissary Agency Europe, located in Hohenfels, Germany. Temporary promotion NTE 1 year, part-time (32 hours/week). Responsibilities Prepare change orders and issue daily change funds to the cash register operators. Receive and verify sales receipts and monies collected from sales store checkers, sort money by denomination, verifies amount, and annotate cashiers' cash receipts. Total cash in each drawer and compare with cash register tape reading to determine overage or shortages. Maintain records of overage and shortages, prepare deposit slips, and prepare cash drawers daily. Process manufacturer coupons, balance monies in safe. Open and close safe and account for all money by balancing and verifying the count for accuracy.
