**EQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:**

Successful completion of EMT– Paramedic program orgraduation from related allied health sciences program or one (1) year related experience.Passing score of 80% or higher of UTMB’s arrhythmia test.

**JOB SUMMARY:**

To provide specialized advanced technical skills in all technical aspects of the telemetrymonitoring system.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:**

+ Operates and troubleshoots all functions of the telemetry monitoring system:
+ Admits, transfers, and discharges patient and enters all required information in telemetry monitoring system.
+ Adjusts alarms.
+ Reviews trends and alarms.
+ Cleans and maintains telemetry monitors/holders and accounts for monitor upon patient discharge.
