Scope
Provides professional sterilization services to Hospital
Work is performed on any shift, as required in the CSSD department of Hospital
Hours are as assigned and may include on call.
Principle Duties
ZONE I – Receiving and Washing
Includes:
Collection of used equipment from users
Checking instrument / sets on return from users to ensure all items are present and in a good condition.
Reporting any item missing immediately to the supervisor and user.
Recording any incident of missing equipment or complaint into department diary.
