Position Overview
What You'll Do
- Set and drive the national technical sales strategy and revenue targets.
- Lead, develop, and grow a team of technical sales representatives.
- Own major client relationships across steel, metals, chemicals, mining supply, and engineering.
- Build and manage the sales pipeline — from prospecting through to contract close.
- Drive a consultative, solutions-based selling approach across the team.
- Identify new verticals and business development opportunities, including sub-Saharan Africa.
- Report on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends to the executive team.
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Engineering (Metallurgical, Chemical, Mechanical, or related) OR Commerce with strong technical grounding.
- 10+ years technical sales experience, with at least 4 years in a senior or team leadership role.
