Good knowledge of manufacturability / producibility practices specific to precision machined, sheet metal fabrication and plastic parts. Understanding of basic electrical components would be desirable.
Ability to perform technical calculations on individual build-to-print parts and simple assemblies to determine a fair and acceptable price for both Applied Materials and our suppliers.
Understanding of GD&T standards for proper application. Able to identify cost reduction / avoidance ideas through DFx tenets and collaborate with design engineers.
Will prepare project plan and coordinate the attainment of project deliverables from planning to implementation. Maintains matrix for process improvements.
