Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience managing the construction of undersea fiber optic cables or other undersea infrastructure (umbilical, pipeline, power cable, flexible, etc.).
5 years of experience in technical program management working cross-functionally.
Preferred qualifications:
Knowledge of turnkey construction contracts and the ability to interpret them and apply relevant clauses as issues arise with the supplier.
Understanding of telecommunications submarine cable fiber optic technical design and installation, including manufacturing process, quality assurance, marine best practices, and safety.
Ability to work comfortably in an environment where professional judgment is needed to fill in the gaps and support the decision.
