Technical Officer - (Grade: 09) Department of Ichthyology and Fisheries Science The Department of Ichthyology and Fisheries Science invite suitably qualified candidates to join their team. Main Objectives Assist and support the Manager: Admin and Technical Support and be responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the Department's technical facilities required for research, teaching and service provision. Also responsible for the aquaculture facilities and outreach programmes and will be expected to work after hours and on weekends as required. Requirements Grade 12 with science or biology, plus approximately four years relevant experience. Previous experience in aquaculture and/or maintaining life support systems for marine or freshwater organisms. Previous experience working on a fish farm, fish hatchery or aquatic science laboratory.
