Technical Officer (Regulation and Prequalification) – WHO
Grade: P-4. Location: Geneva, Switzerland. Application deadline: 1 July 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the implementation of the antivenom risk-benefit assessment project.
- Day-to-day management of project activities according to the final work plan and in accordance with WHO policies.
- Conducts dossier reviews by an independent scientific panel.
- Coordinates the establishment of a Technical Services Agreement with an external laboratory for testing, including physicochemical, compositional, antivenomic, and specific activity testing of product samples.
- Assesses compliance with WHO Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) of manufacturing sites.
- Performs scientific analysis of data generated during risk‑benefit assessments and produces technical reports and assessments to support evidence-based decision-making processes.
