Position Overview
You will focus on purchasing technical services for the Tuas Refinery.
In this job you will work closely with category leads in optimizing the supplier and availability and with the work planners in securing the correct materials and services in time for daily maintenance or turnarounds.
Manage end to end purchasing process for Technical Materials and Technical Services including but not limited to: - Prepare and issue requests for quotation (RFQ) and perform commercial bid evaluations
- Negotiate with the suppliers
- Prepare and issue purchase orderParticipate in delivery control and claim issues
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders, fostering collaboration and driving continuous cost savings
- Collaborate with sourcing managers on optimizing the supplier base, spend and contracts
- Position includes use of SAP, Coupa, Microsoft and Google tools
