Position Overview
Summary
You will lead the technical direction of a defence programme that advances high power RF system capabilities from early concept through modelling and test. This role gives you authority over how electromagnetic interactions are modelled, how electrical architectures are structured and how design choices evolve across the system lifecycle. You will shape the methods, analytical pathways and technical evidence that drive development decisions.
Where you will work
Bristol-based, hybrid working on offer
What you will be doing
Acting as technical lead for the project with responsibility for defining modelling approaches, technical methods and design rationale
• Leading electromagnetic modelling of high power RF propagation, coupling paths and system level interactions using established and emerging analytical tools
• Directing electrical and electronic architecture assessments across power generation, RF transmission c...
