Core purpose of the role

The Technical Hardware Specialist is accountable for the telemetry device setup, configuration, maintenance and SIM card preparation within the telematics department. This includes: telemetry device configuration, device setup, device troubleshooting, device testing, device repairs, maintenance on all telemetry devices, SIM card management and completing the relevant administration thereof. This is a technical role that needs to be proficient in software and hardware configuration not unlike an I. T support engineer.

Key deliverables and outputs Telematics and SIM Card Administration Test and set up the parameters of devices prior to distribution.
