Job Description

AECOM is recruiting a Technical Director for its UK & Ireland Building Engineering team, based in South West & Wales. The role focuses on structural engineering projects involving seismic, blast and dynamic loads, particularly for Defence, Aviation and Education sectors.

Location

This position is based across Basingstoke, Bristol and Plymouth with the SW&W structural engineering team. The successful candidate may work flexibly from any part of the UK but will need to travel to the South-west region and other UK office sites as required.

Recent Projects

• HMNB Devonport: Designed seismically qualified upgrade works for dry docks supporting deep maintenance of nuclear-powered submarines.
• NPSCY: Designed infrastructure for Australia's first nuclear-powered submarine construction yard, including seismic hazard requirements.
