About the Role

The CSPS Technical Director is responsible for organizing and curating clinical and technical expertise to support MGH's reprocessing of reusable medical devices. This pivotal role involves interpreting industry regulations and leading the continuous assessment and development of policies, procedures, and practices for medical device reprocessing at MGH and MGPO. The Technical Director also oversees the MGH High-Level Disinfection and Sterilization (HLDS) Program and the Reusable Instrument Device Oversight (RIDOC) Committee to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies such as The Joint Commission (TJC) and The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH).
