Position Overview
We are currently recruiting for an Team Leader in Butchery, to be part of the Butcher Departmental Management Team of shared responsibility for production and technical / specification performance of the Butchery Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Allocation of work to employees in the Butchery Department.
- Report and resolve machine issues quickly, advising the Engineering Department of work requirements
- Ensure product is produced within specification
- Carry out routine inspection of your area and any equipment in your charge and report any maintenance requirements, deficiencies or recommendations for improvements.
- The job holder will have signed Westerleigh Quality and Food Safety Contract which will be an appendix to this role profile. This will be reviewed and signed annually.
