About the role

The specialist Perinatal Mental Health service will provide consultation, advice, treatment and liaison for women with a moderate to severe mental disorder during pregnancy and up to a year after birth. The team will support the wider health and social care environment in raising awareness around perinatal mental health issues. The service provides mental health care for patients and provides care delivered on need rather than age or IQ.

Main duties of the job

• Answers the telephone in a professional, helpful and courteous manner, taking accurate message and ensuring timely distribution.
• All records are maintained efficiently and accurately and proactive monitoring of retention periods and Trust storage facilities.
