Teaching within own subject area within an established teaching programme.
Development and delivery of lectures, tutorials, laboratories, group project exercises.
Marking of coursework and examinations under the direction of academic staff.
Supervision of student undergraduate projects.
Contributing to module leadership.
Contributing to personal tutoring of undergraduate students.
Contribute to enhancement of the student experience or employability.
Main Duties
Teach courses at a range of levels within specified subject area and within own area of subject specialism predominantly to undergraduates, but with potential for contributing to postgraduates and CPD students teaching; this will be predominantly through allocated lectures, seminars, tutorials and laboratory classes, so that the School’s teaching objectives are met.
