Position Overview
The role
The Department of Public Health as part of the Faculty of Medicine, Christchurch, seeks to appoint a skilled and versatile Teaching Fellow to support and teach primarily into the Survey Methods (PUBH723), as well as undertake some course materials development. This role will work closely with course convenors and assist in developing teaching materials, practical sessions and assessments.
Key skills and experience
- Some teaching experience, with a desire to develop teaching and facilitate learning success.
- Experience with use of or demonstrated knowledge in social research methods, particularly surveys.
- Experience with development of surveys using software such as Qualtrics or REDCap.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to work with students and staff from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds.
