Role Summary

Teaching Assistant at Great Heath Academy.

Responsibilities

• Support the teaching and learning of students across primary classes.
• Assist children on an individual basis, in small groups and during whole class work.
• Plan and prepare resources to enable successful teaching and support pupils with special needs or particular difficulties.
• Maintain a positive, safe and organised classroom environment and liaise with staff, parents and visitors.
• Use good organisational and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team and independently.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people and children.
• Knowledge of child development and how children learn.
