The school has a fantastic support structure and offers excellent resources for all staff, supporting children with a range of SEND needs. The pupil you will be responsible for supporting presents with ASD and requires dedicated 1:1 support. Duties of the role include: • Providing dedicated 1:1 classroom support • Assisting the child with emotional regulation, stimulation and engagement • Managing challenging behaviours, including refusal to work and leaving the classroom. • Building a positive relationship with the pupil and supporting them through their education, including transition periods. • Helping the child manage throughout the school day.
