This teaching post is an exciting opportunity to join our Post‑16 team on the main site, supporting young people with SEND as they prepare for adulthood. The Post‑16 curriculum is highly personalised and centred around each learner's EHCP outcomes, with a strong focus on developing communication, independence, emotional regulation, employability skills, and self‑advocacy. Learning opportunities are embedded throughout the day and include vocational learning, personal development, independent living skills, health and wellbeing, community participation, and preparation for future pathways. Learners engage in practical experiences such as enterprise activities, workplace responsibilities, household tasks, self‑care routines, and physical wellbeing programmes, enabling them to apply skills in meaningful real‑life contexts.
