Teacher of Design & Technology

MPS/UPS (Inner London) with Qualified Teacher Status. This 0.8 FTE post is a 1-year fixed term contract. Start date: September 2026. Applications from ECTs are welcome; where an ECT is appointed, the post would be offered on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Design & Technology lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, including Textiles, Food Technology, Graphics and Product Design; contribute to curriculum development and the KS3 curriculum embedding design thinking through masterclasses and design challenges.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the DT department and the wider Art, Design and Technology Faculty; share best practice, resources and innovative ideas; support a well-resourced department with technicians to deliver a high-quality learning experience.
