Position Overview
**Duties**:** *This is not a remote work position. Travel will be expected to all Southern Sector facilities.* · Teach classes to incarcerated individuals as assigned by direct supervisor using approved standards-based curriculum through both synchronous and asynchronous virtual programming. · Develop standards-based curriculum and use that to create virtual classes using the APDS Learning Management System. · Possess the skills to operate equipment used in the production of virtual education classes: including but not limited to, cameras, audio, lighting, computers, editing and production software, etc. · May need to flex her/his work schedule in order to accommodate conference times with students beyond the typical school day. · Demonstrate a comprehensive and current knowledge of DOC policies and procedures. · Identify and recruit potential class participants to maintain maximum program capacity by utilizing educational program waitlists. · Complete daily attendance to maintain stud...
