National Children’s Center, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is one of the region’s largest non-governmental providers of services for individuals with developmental disabilities, offering an array of services to infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and adults in the Washington metropolitan area. Summary: Our Early Learning Center (ELC) strives to provide high-quality early childhood education and early intervention for children with and without disabilities in an inclusive educational setting. The Teacher Assistant participates in the planning and implementation of classroom activities and provides basic care for Infants and Toddlers enrolled in the program.
