General Service / Clinical Waste Driver - Transport Department

• Deliver and pick up stores, laundry, and clinical waste from numerous collection points.
• Carry out manual lifting, loading/unloading of cages, waste bags and containers.
• Transport collected loads to appropriate drop‑off or pick‑up points.
• Maintain and clean the vehicle, conduct daily checks, and complete required paperwork.
• Work independently to a high standard, demonstrating punctuality, reliability, politeness, and effective face‑to‑face communication.

Requirements

• Full driving licence Cat C1 (Cat C desirable).
• Driving experience preferred; no DR10.
• Ability to perform manual handling and work unsupervised.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Commitment to high standards of safety and professionalism.
