We are seeking a Tax Professional to join the tax operations team. This professional will have several key responsibilities including: preparation and review of income tax provisions, preparation and/or review of federal and state income tax returns, tax basis balance sheet calculations and account reconciliations under ASC740; work closely with Tax Technology to continue to streamline processes related to tax calculations. This position will help ensure that NextEra Energy Resources remains “Best in Class” with regard to the quality and efficiency of our income tax process.

Working under the direction of a Tax Manager, this position will be responsible for preparation and review income tax provisions under ASC740 as well as the tax-related financial information and disclosures to be included in the applicable SEC filings (notably Forms 10-K and 10-Q).
