**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **System Safety Engineer** to join our team in **Cape Canaveral, FL** area. This is a full-time onsite position.

This position provides Launch System Safety support to the SSC AATS NSSL Launch Vehicle Mission Assurance (LVMA) Teams as part of the System Engineering & Integration II Contract. Work will include launch base support to various Government launch programs along with coordination efforts with their respective launch processing facilities and launch complexes, including the United Launch Alliance Vulcan family of launch vehicles and SpaceX Falcon/Falcon Heavy launch vehicles. It may also include support for new Launch Service Providers as they are brought on contract. This position also serves as a launch site safety expert for the government mission management team on mission-related technical and operational requirements.
