DUTIES : Nexteer Automotive Corporation seeks a Systems Engineer – Controls in Saginaw, Michigan. This position does not require travel. The Systems Engineer – Controls is responsible for the design and analysis of the controls of electronic power steering systems using dynamic system modelling and simulation. Complete validation of control system requirements. Provide technical leadership for projects incorporating complex electromechanical (“Mechatronic”) systems. Design and optimize multiple system performance goals through requirements flow down. Understand and create system and subsystem specifications.
