Manage and support AIX and IBM Power environments.
Ensure high availability and reliability using GPFS and PowerHA cluster.
Perform AIX performance monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning.
Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes.
Implement AIX security best practices and access controls; drive hardening activities in line with organizational standards.
Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory security frameworks and work with the compliance team to finalize and implement baseline security controls.
Coordinate and execute patching activities across AIX environments, work with enterprise patching tools such as Satellite, and maintain and document the patch execution tracker.
Collaborate with the Vulnerability Management team to analyze and remediate findings from Qualys reports; track, prioritize, and close security vulnerabilities within defined timelines.
