Position Overview
**Description**
SAIC has an immediate need for a **System Administrator** β―that can troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1-2 operational tickets as part of a 24/7/365 operations located in either location Charleston, SC or New Orleans, LA.
**This is a hybrid/remote role; however, the candidate MUST be within 30 miles of either location.**
**NOTE: this is a 3rd shift position (12:00a-8:00aEST) Tuesday-Saturday** (subject to adjust for peer/customer support)
**Typical Duties Include:**
+ Acknowledge or receive Priority 1 system outages then troubleshoot
+ Troubleshooting system admin related hosting outages and operational tickets
+ Work with application team and other team members to resolve outages
+ Report outages and issues to data center team members, leadership and program teams
+ Perform software updates and patches, as necessary
+ Use of monitoring systems such as SolarWinds and SPLUNK
