JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teaches Guidance to grades 3-5 in daily Unified Arts RotationAssist all students in the areas of academic achievement and social/emotional development.Provide pull-out support to Tier II / III students in the area of social/emotional growth.Serve as the 504 CoordinatorAssist and teach students how to manage emotions and apply interpersonal skills.Provide short-term counseling and small group counseling to students.Refer students for long-term support when appropriate.Collaborate with families/teachers/administrators/community for student success.Conduct data analysis to identify student issues, needs and challenges within the school.Participate in school and district committees and initiatives to provide system support.Assist with crisis management.Develop and follow an effective school counseling program and annual plan, consistent with the s...
