Position Summary: JMT is currently seeking Surveying Technician / Inspector I for their Sylva, North Carolina Office. The successful candidate for this position will adjust and operate surveying instruments, such as the theodolite and electronic distance-measuring equipment, and compiles notes, make sketches and enter data into computers. They will also assist the survey team by gathering and maintaining specified data for land surveying. Finally, they will complete simple routine tasks under close supervision.
