Objective
The Party Chief is responsible for the managing the activities of a survey party throughout various job locations. The Party Chief provides highly technical support and insight to project management for heavy civil projects.
Job Duties
Utilize survey equipment and manage others to locate, review, and research job locationsOperations include identifying landmarks, physical objects, and significant land changes that would affect the required survey Supervise survey work, evaluate priorities, and coordinate work effortsReview the standard of work being performed and derive necessary field calculations from work completedUtilize and provide training for survey instruments and equipmentEnsures that angles, distance, and information are accurate and conform to regulations and standardsRecord and illustrate, in note form, a neat and legible reproduction of work performe...
